Happy International Women’s Day
/International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality.
Marked annually on March 8th, International Women’s Day was first celebrated in 1911, in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland. The day was made official in 1974 when the United Nations started celebrating the annual event.
March 8th is a day of:
Identifying, celebrating, and increasing visibility of women's achievements to help forge equality.
Intentional collaborations based on a foundation of shared purpose, trust, and appreciation to impact positive change for women.
Worldwide awareness through meaningful narratives, resources, and activity helping combat gender bias and discrimination to accelerate gender equality.

Support Woman-Owned + Woman-Made
In the summer of 2020, seeing the disproportionate effect that the pandemic was having on women, cofounders Kate and Susan created an economic platform where women could launch or grow a business, find resources to help them succeed, and meet other women entrepreneurs and business owners. Launching The W Marketplace in September of 2020 with over 60 sellers and 600 products and services, it quickly grew to over 500 women entrepreneurs with their 3500+ products and services.
